Dpc surfing mary poppins style

Gale force gusts have arrived, luckily there is not much to blow down, there are enough holes in the gable to allow the wind to whistle through! What else could happen...
Dilema, we need the DPC down asap ready for the concrete, so david poppins has been trying a new hobby- DPC surfing, I knew he wanted to try kite surfing! Eventually after wrestling all day we are ready for the concrete...

All hands on deck... Wellies rakes to hand and pourrrr - 12 m3 of c25/30 3 hours and a batch of bacon butties later the floor slab is complete, all ready for the walls BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. Insulation=warm home+ cheap bills

The floor levels need to be raised considerably and as we are opting for underfloor heating (supplier not choosn yet).  We have choosen insulation over slab.  The building regs have specified 75mm but we are going to use 100mm insulation.  Insead of using a primary limestone aggregate we are opting for a slate sub base ( classed as recycled and eco friendly)  and have had our 1st 30tonne delivered by Loweroak aggregates.
