17/09 After making the decision to avoid as many white bricks as possible in the build, David let me loose with a new toy. a fine Friday evening, with specialist equipment to hand..glass of wine, I set about cleaning the bricks using the wire brush on a drill- what fun, the walls were only at shoulder height so my glass had the perfect resting plate. There are so many decsions to make daily and I am so grateful that Steve (brick layer) has the forethought to stop and ask. Not just throw the bricks down like Duplo. Talking of which he was most grateful for a set of plans to follow, I knew there was something i'd forgotten to give to him!
